THE ROLE:

Group: Marketing | Function: Demand Generation

Fidel offers the chance to join a fast-moving and growing company. We’re building a marketing function from scratch, starting the right way – with data and the customer at the core of everything we do. You’ll be given licence to shape a critical business function, building out our end-to-end Demand Generation strategy from scratch.

Your mission will be to drive brand awareness and lead generation, and improve customer retention by owning and optimising marketing campaigns across all marketing programmes. The role will work closely with marketing, revenue operations, sales, and customer success to ensure programs are timely, measurable, flawlessly executed, and drive revenue.

Requirements

Strategy & framework setting: Set the long-term Demand Generation strategy to build Fidel into an enduring, meaningfully differentiated, and customer driven brand. Execute the short-term strategy by building scalable frameworks that will drive awareness, traffic, leads, user retention and most importantly, revenue in a measurable way.

Campaign creation and management: Partner with product marketing and content marketing to create targeted, content-led demand campaigns. Build and manage end-to-end demand generation campaigns across multiple channels, including SEM, display, email marketing, content syndication, and social media advertising to drive revenue

Measurement and reporting: Determine metrics (e.g pipeline contribution, win rate, and overall ROI) to measure and iterate on the effectiveness of demand generation campaigns. Report to key stakeholders what’s happening, why it’s happening, and how the Demand Generation function can drive change and impact.

Website optimisation - Work with our Marketing-focused Front-end Developer to optimise the Fidel website, performing analysis and optimization experiments to increase the conversion rates.

Experimentation: Design structured experimentation processes that allow us to understand our growth marketing funnel (unqualified lead through to customer retention), and where leads are dropping out of that funnel. Act on the identified areas of opportunity to increase conversion rates.


SKILLS:

We generally don’t have hard and fast requirements - everyone is different. Core attributes and skills we’re hoping to see highlighted in your CV and application are:

Strategy: Understanding of content distribution strategies across various channels and platforms. Expertise in applying them at different stages of the marketing funnel to drive demand generation and awareness.

Technological aptitude: Experience and deep understanding of enterprise software, B2B & SaaS business models, APIs and the payments industry. Must have worked in Hubspot.

Iteration & optimization: Ability to take an iterative, logical and methodical approach to problem-solving, while still being innovative and creative.

Analytical mindset: Experience building positive ROI demand generation functions. Demonstrable ability to analyze campaign pipeline metrics and effectiveness and optimize to improve performance.

Customer-centricity: Passionate about creating engaging and thoughtful customer experiences across the entire customer lifecycle, with a strong affinity for good design and UI.
