Leading the Learning Experience Design team

In the London office, the Learning Experience Design function sits within the Product Team, alongside Content and Teaching. The Head of Learning Experience Design reports directly into the Head of Product who oversees the Product Team.


The Head of Learning Experience Design’s day will be a mix of learner interviews and observation, analysing data across the entire learner experience, and prioritising and implementing crucial improvements to our products. You will also lead sprint planning, and act as a line manager to a team of Learning Experience Designers.

It will involve occasional travel to clients, both in the UK and internationally (Decoded’s London office is the hub for clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa).

In service of understanding our products, you may choose to teach workshops (where your skills permit).

The typical Decoded working week is 09:00 – 18:00, Monday to Friday. When we talk about working late, we mean working until 18:30 – it’s important to us that your evenings and weekends are always yours.
